Iranian doc ‘The Fabric’ to vie in South Korea

Iranian doc ‘The Fabric’ is to go on screen at the Seoul Int’l Senior Film Festival in South Korea.

Iranian documentary ‘The Fabric’ has been selected to compete at the 14th edition of the Seoul International Senior Film Festival (SISFF) in South Korea.

Directed by Iman Behrouzi, the documentary is narrated from the point of view of a dormitory resident in a coronavirus lock-down situation.

Co-produced by Iran and Germany, the documentary has participated in several international events, including the Laceno D’oro International Film Festival in Italy and the Parnu International Documentary Film Festival in Estonia.

According to the official website of the SISFF, “it provides fresh insights on generations, relationships, and the complexity of senior life by connecting different perspectives from various countries”.

The upcoming edition of the event is scheduled for May 19-23, 2022.
